A 10 days Private & Customized Norway Fjord & Family Heritage Tour

We are now back in the New York after our trip to Norway and want to thank you so much for all your careful planning. Everything went exactly as your described in the itinerary and this made our trip so much easier. All the hotels were so beautiful and comfortable and the meals were fabulous, --the variety and quality made us salivate every time we walked into a dining room. It was fun to walk through the historical areas of many of the hotels and view the furniture and art works. One of the unanticipated perks of traveling on our own, was that, at meal times, we always seemed to be put at tables in small quiet rooms near windows with great views, away from the large groups from tours. On the boat ride from Balestrand to Fjærland and back, we were able to get seats outside on the front of the boat. This was a magnificent way to cruise down a fjord. Also, the weather was sunny and mild. It was the experience I dreamed it would be. And finally, to have been able to go to the actual farms of my ancestors and get a feel for how their lives were spent, and speculate on how difficult conditions must have gotten for them to have left their beautiful country, well, it was a spiritual experience for me. It was wonderful to have you as our guide for three days and we learned a lot about Norway that we might not have picked up on our own.
