Covid update & travel advice for Norway

Norway is a scatterly populated country with a highly functioning health care system and less active cases of Covid than most other countries. Even so the Norwegian Government has extended the restrictions of entry to our country due to the spreading of the contagious mutant viruses and in anticipation of more vaccines to arrive.

We in Exclusive Scandinavia follow the situation closely and look so much forward to starting up again our operations of private customize tours and superyacht cruises as soon as we consider this being safe for our guests.

As by now only “social critical” travel is permitted for Norwegians and only non-residents being critical personnel are allowed to enter.

Mandatory testing, requirements that travellers document a negative Covid-19 test result from a test taken in the 24 hours prior to their arrival in Norway, traveller registration, a 10 days quarantine and quarantine hotels will continue to apply to those persons who are exempt from the restrictions on travel until further notice.

Norway categorises European countries as “yellow” and “red” depending on the level of infections. Arrivals from “red countries” will have to quarantine for 10 days.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is maintaining its global advice against all non-essential travel to all countries. This advice currently applies until 15 April 2021.
